HMG Staff Spotlight: Brandy Hamilton

Brandy Hamilton recently joined the Help Me Grow Alabama team as the Wiregrass Regional Care Coordinator at Wiregrass 2-1-1.

Brandy studied Nursing and Child Development at Wallace College and has worked with children for the past twenty-three years, most recently as an Early Head Start teacher.

Brandy is from a small town in Northeast Alabama and relocated to Dothan 14 years ago. She has three children, her oldest son is in the Air Force stationed overseas, youngest son is starting college in the fall, and daughter will be a senior this year at Northview High School.

Brandy was a single mom when her children were small and understands the struggle and frustration that comes along with that. Brandy has said that working with people is her passion and she will do everything she can to encourage families to succeed.

Help Me Grow Alabama is funded by the Alabama Department of Early Childhood Education through the Preschool Development Grant, the Alabama Department of Human Resources, and the Alabama Department of Mental Health through a Project LAUNCH Grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Association. In addition, Help Me Grow Alabama is supported by an AmeriCorps State Grant from the Corporation for National and Community Service provided by The Governor's Office of Volunteer Services.

 

Help Me Grow Alabama partners with 2-1-1 Connects Alabama for implementation in nine regions of the state.
