Job Announcement – Help Me Grow Alabama Regional Care Coordinator
The Alabama Partnership for Children seeks a Help Me Grow Alabama (HMGA) Regional Care Coordinator who will provide care coordination services for families with children birth to eight years old.
Responsibilities will include assisting families in accessing resources and services available to them through various statewide systems and assisting with the management of the Alabama Family Central (AFC) website as needed.
A candidate for this position should hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in the area of early childhood, special education, social work, or a related field and should possess an understanding of the current systems and services relating to young children and families facing challenges relating to development, behavior, and learning.
The person in this position reports to the HMGA Director.
Help Me Grow Alabama is a program of the Alabama Partnership for Children as an affiliate of the Help Me Grow National Network.
Help Me Grow Alabama is funded by the Alabama Department of Early Childhood Education through the Preschool Development Grant, the Alabama Department of Human Resources, and the Alabama Department of Mental Health through a Project LAUNCH Grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Association. In addition, Help Me Grow Alabama is supported by an AmeriCorps State Grant from the Corporation for National and Community Service provided by The Governor's Office of Volunteer Services.
