Krista Manchester joined the Help Me Grow team in April of 2017 as the Northwest Regional Care Coordinator at the United Way of Northwest Alabama. She previously served as the Executive Director of the Homeless Care Council of Northwest Alabama and has previous experience working with families and children in need through the 211 Help Line. She is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University with a B.A. in Mass Communications. She looks forward to making a difference with Help Me Grow and helping families have the confidence and capacity to provide for their children. Welcome, Krista!

Help Me Grow Alabama is funded by the Alabama Department of Early Childhood Education through the Preschool Development Grant, the Alabama Department of Human Resources, and the Alabama Department of Mental Health through a Project LAUNCH Grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Association. In addition, Help Me Grow Alabama is supported by an AmeriCorps State Grant from the Corporation for National and Community Service provided by The Governor's Office of Volunteer Services.
Help Me Grow Alabama partners with 2-1-1 Connects Alabama for implementation in nine regions of the state.
